Health Education Associates offers American Heart Association certification in BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR, Heartsaver CPR AED and First aid. We have been training medical professionals and lay-rescuers in the Kansas City area for over 30 years. We teach at our Johnson County office or at your location. Our instuctors provide training for individuals in a friendly, comfortable environment. We also provide onsite training for groups of five or more. Call us today to schedule a class.



American Heart association courses





BLS FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS CPR


Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is a certification course for doctors, nurses and other healthcare professions including nursing students, EMTs, dentist, dental hygienist, physical therapist, etc.


Each class includes the required one and two person techniques for resuscitating adult, child and infant victims of cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest and conscious choking. Instruction includes proper use of AED and bag valve mask.

HEARTSAVER CPR AED


This course teaches the basic techniques of adult, child and infant CPR. The students learn proper use of AEDs and barrier devices. Instruction includes how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: Heart Attack, Stroke, Cardiac Arrest and Choking.


Price: $65 includes book


Student will receive a two-year certification upon completion.


HEARTSAVER FIRST AID


This course covers First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. Students will learn how to provide basic medical care until the arrival of EMS.


Price: $65 includes the book


Students will receive a two-year certification card upon course completion.


$95 IF YOU COMPLETE THE CPR AED FIRST AID ON THE SAME DAY
